Hosting a cookie exchange is a great way to have an informal get-together, and end up one step ahead of your holiday baking schedule in the process! Each guest brings a batch (typically one dozen per guest) of their favorite home-made cookies and swaps them with the other guests. This concept is a tradition for many, and it not only saves you some money as you are cooking in bulk (and fills up the cookie jar with different selections of cookies!); but it also saves time during this often time-stressed period.
