KICK OFF THE HOLIDAYS WITH THE MIXING TABLE AT ITS ANNUAL
HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2007
Come and support Local Artisans, as Well as Non-Profit Organization Doorways, Inc.
What: Holiday parties are right around the corner, and The Mixing Table’s Holiday Open House is
an event that will be sure to help you save time (and energy!) while spicing up your holiday
season. You will sample specialty hors d’ouevres and desserts; taste mouth-watering dinner
ideas from the December menu; and experience party time savers – all of which are
available for purchase at The Mixing Table throughout the holiday season. The Mixing
Table’s December menu was designed with your hectic holiday schedule in mind where
each item can be an easy week night dinner, or dressed up for holiday guests.
This will also be a great place to stop during your holiday shopping that day. Gift
certificates to The Mixing Table make a great gift, and during the event each gift certificate
you purchase will earn you 10% back for your own spending at The Mixing Table. Also
featured will be gift selections from local area businesses & artisans.
For this event The Mixing Table has partnered with Doorways, Inc. located in Seekonk,
MA. For every entrée purchased, The Mixing Table will match the meals sold and donate
them to Doorways, Inc. The 501 © (3) non-profit organization provides food to needy
families in our immediate community of Seekonk, with over one-third of them being
children. If you chose to make a donation directly, please contact them at (508) 761-8448.
Normally there is a six-meal-minimum, but during the open house the minimum has been
waived, allowing you to mix just one meal if you like. Every hour during the open house, a
staff member will demonstrate mixing a meal, and will then raffle the meal to a lucky
winner in the store. There is also a chance to register for the grand raffle prize – a six-meal
mixing session at the Mixing Table.
There is no registration required, and no purchase or mixing necessary to attend this free
event. If a customer would like to mix a meal – prices are: $14.95 for small meals (2-3
people) and $24.95 for large meals (4-6 people).
Just think, no meal planning, grocery shopping, and ingredient preparation, or clean up and
no last minute gifts. You might actually have the energy and time to mingle with your
guests!

Who: The Mixing Table is an independently owned meal assembly business, where customers
can assemble delicious meals designed to be frozen and cooked when needed. The food is
high quality, healthy, an affordable; and this hands-on experience is not only fun, but takes
the stress out of meal planning and preparation. The hope of the management team is to
provide convenience to customers while freeing up more time; offer a unique social
experience with new and old friends; present a variety of healthy meal options; all in a cost-
effective way. There are 12 recipes offered each month and all have been quality tested for
